Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale

Great Gatsby

Twilight (no I don’t even own the series anymore but 1) if you haven’t read the prologue of this book you need to ITS AMAZING, 2) it brought vampire to the YA stage, sure there were vampire books but not intense popularity until Twilight 3)werewolves, not overly popular but after this book they were, plus the addition of Native American lore, usually found with shifters (skinwalker stories), was great

Brave New World

Little Women (I can read it at anytime, I have this beautiful illustrated edition of it and it is probably my favorite book…Little Men/Jo’s Boys is great as well!)

The Sorcerer’s Stone

Uglies

Till We Have Faces

Unwind (long awaited sequel, UnWholly comes out 8/28/2012!!!)

Elsewhere (heavy material yet humorous…very good read)

A Great and Terrible Beauty (period piece + magic…!!!)

The Looking Glass Wars (first book in the series, darker retelling of Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass…it’s amazing!)

Memoirs of A Geisha

The Mists of Avalon

Guilty Pleasures (Anita Blake)

Hit List (Anita Blake)

Sarah (Marek Halter)

The Odyssey

The Au Pairs

Alice in Wonderland as well as Through the Looking Glass (I love Wonderland however I like the Looking Glass a tad more)

Gone With The Wind

Divergent

The Giver

Mockingjay

The Handmaid’s Tale

I’m Starved for You (Margaret Atwood’s Kindle Single…short & sweet)

Snow Flower and The Secret Fan

The Hobbit (can’t wait for the movie, mad it’s in 3 parts)

 Lord of the Flies

Hamlet (I’ve read and seen it as well as read retellings dozens of times & I still love it…even though Hamlet gets on my nerves with his indecisiveness and Ophelia is annoying)

A Midsummer Night’s Dream (I’ve seen it, written my own version for a children’s theater camp, read it in class and drama club and I still crack up every time)
