I am a strong advocate for diverse representation, as such I’m always looking for meaningful, character-driven stories, especially in the science fiction and fantasy genres, in middle grade or young adult.
I am especially craving a space opera.

A Selection of Novels I’ve Adored:

  • FRAZZLED by Booki Vivat
  • THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD & EVIL by Soman Chainani
  • THE SERPENT’S SECRET by Sayantani DasGupta (I acquired this while at Scholastic and I’m always looking for funny, kick-butt MG, especially with girl main characters)
  • FOREST OF A THOUSAND LANTERNS by Julie C. Dao
  • THE WINNER’S CURSE by Marie Rutoski (this remains one of my alltime favorites…would love a book with intrigue & characters as rich as this)
