OMG!!  I don’t know how I haven’t seen this yet but it made me remember why I love this series so much.  Think about it, it’s all about figuring out who you are in a world where you’re not only supposed to know but conform to a certain group identity.  And for those of us who don’t… Ugh, I feel like this is my life.  Veronica Roth is a Goddess, more than…thank you forever.  If Harry Potter was the book series and character I needed for my childhood Tris and DIVERGENT is definitely the one for my coming into adulthood and life.

Okay, enough yapping, here it is…

Also, DIVERGENT is a great example of romance in YA that enhances the story plot instead of subtracting from it or ruining it as I feel happens way too often.  And Maggie Q and Kate Winslet, genius picks!!

P.S. I think I quote DIVERGENT daily to myself, I mean the quotes about fear in that book are soo good.  Also, this post by Veronica Roth is everything.

Aww thanks Beth! The whole “finding my way” thing is something I stopped caring about within this past year, because honestly I don’t think they’re are many people who know exactly who they are/where they fit 100%, 24/7, but reading Divergent was a big part of that process. Also, I just saw your FB message, would love to help if you still need it 🙂

I saw this trailer about a week ago. I must have fainted, I’m not really sure because suddenly everything was a blur and I was hyperventilating..LOL Great choices on Tris, Kate, FOUR-oh yes- and Maggie Q. Divergent is my ‘most anticipated movie 2014’

Yes. I think these books are fantastic, and while I’m skeptical about loving the movie before I’ve had a chance to see it, I’m so excited for Allegiant and for the movie’s release date. 😀

I completely agree. It’s so hard to love a movie before it’s released. I’ve done that before and it’s been horrible (cough, cough Eragon aka the movie that should never be spoken about). However I’m hopeful, it’s looking good so far.
